GreenLab and the Mayor of Skive welcome Intellis.
The occasion was Intellis’ participation in the Danish Collection (Danmarks Indsamlingen) once again, which included a day featuring a tour of GreenLab in Skive led by COO Thomas Helsgaun on an electric scooter. Following the tour, we were invited to lunch with Mayor Peder Christian Kirkegaard at Restaurant Ballast.
The menu featured Danish “smørrebrød”, and there was a meaningful discussion about sustainability in 2024 from the perspective of businesses and organizations. Intellis is committed to the fight for a more sustainable future, and therefore gladly invited some of our customers to join the tour of GreenLab in Skive. As innovation and sustainability are core values for Intellis, it was natural for us to support this important cause and gain insight into GreenLab’s mission.
Together Making a Difference The Danish Collection is an annual event aimed at raising funds to help the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. Charitable organizations and the Danish public join forces to make a positive difference in the fight against poverty, disease, and inequality on a global scale. This is a cause that both Skive Municipality, GreenLab, and Intellis are proud to support.
“We believe the Danish Collection is a great initiative that gives us the opportunity to support and help children and young people around the world. The Sustainable Development Goals are a high priority for us in Skive Municipality, so we are glad to offer our support,” explains Peder Christian Kirkegaard, sitting Mayor of Skive.
The visit to GreenLab provided participants with insights into the latest developments in sustainable technology and innovation. The tour further reinforced Intellis’ desire to be at the forefront of green technology and innovation, even more so than before the visit.
“We all have a responsibility to help where it is needed the most. We can’t do otherwise. Additionally, having the opportunity to see GreenLab, which serves as a beacon for green transition and an inspiration for businesses, organizations, and society as a whole, is a huge bonus and very inspiring,” elaborates Linda Johansson, HR and Communications Manager at Intellis..
When GreenLab was asked about their involvement in the Danish Collection, there was no doubt about their commitment to making a positive difference in the world. Their motivation and dedication to supporting charitable causes were evident.
“Our participation in the Danish Collection was primarily to support a good cause, even though we, as a start-up, had not yet generated a profit at that time. We hope that the tour contributes to providing insight into our humble ambition to create a power shift and accelerate the green transition,” concludes Thomas Helsgaun, COO of GreenLab.
Their participation in the collection reflects their deep commitment to being a positive force for change and their desire to be part of the solution to global problems. This commitment and desire are values we share at Intellis.
