The major societal challenges are addressed through collaboration between the public and private sectors.
On Wednesday, September 6th, we held our first user conference for all customers, partners, and stakeholders. The day was filled with exciting presentations, fun and entertaining segments, experience sharing, and knowledge exchange, focusing on AI, contract management, sustainable e-commerce, digitalization, and public-private collaboration.
Below, we have compiled some of the valuable insights and experiences shared throughout the day.
“According to The American Lawyer, it took a lawyer an average of 92 minutes to review a contract, while AI did it in 26 seconds. The lawyer identified 85% of the contract’s risks, whereas AI scored 94%,” shared Pernille Stege Geil, Head of Transformation at Devoteam.
Pernille Stege Geil works to mature and optimize organizations through Contract Management, which ensures compliance and a healthy bottom line. Devoteam continuously pushes the boundaries and fosters innovation in contract management.
“AI can be used as a tool—a helper that can effectively support you in your legal work. For example, did you know that Goldman Sachs estimates that 44% of the legal field within contract management can be automated?”
Here are 3 takeaways from Pernille:
- Using AI requires leadership focus and responsibility.
- With AI, one can predict an unknown variable based on a known variable.
- AI contributes to better management of contracts.
Fredensborg Municipality gave a presentation on strategic contract management and procurement, which the municipality is actively working on. Jennifer Brethvad and Mette Vinther Korsgaard from Fredensborg Municipality explained how contract management provides them with a cross-functional, business-supporting discipline that ensures value creation. This allows them to actively manage and segment supplier relationships consistently and effectively. In this way, resources are prioritized for contracts that create the most value for the municipality.
3 take aways from Fredensborg Municipality:
- Procurement that ensures value-creating offers and long-lasting, sustainable contracts.
- Contract management that maximizes the value of the agreements made.
- Inspiring and challenging the professional fields to create the best possible solutions.
Sustainability is a significant focus for municipalities and their procurement departments, which is why we also invited Thomas Schultz, CEO and Co-founder of Konsido, to the stage. Thomas works daily with procurement behavior, patterns, and how municipalities can strategically address these to save resources.
Here are 2 take aways from Konsido:
- Contract management that maximizes the value of the agreements made.
- Enhanced utilization of agreements through integration with Tellis.
Rikke Hougaard Zeberg, Director of the Danish Agency for Data Supply and Infrastructure, joined us to provide political insights on digitalization and the green transition, focusing on the collaboration between public and private organizations.
It requires that we establish the right systems, procedures, and competencies within our authorities and businesses to protect ourselves against cybercrime, which is the most contemporary threat.
Here are 4 take aways from Rikke:
- New technology and data are crucial for digital transformation and the green transition.
- Denmark is at the forefront but is losing momentum.
- We need to continue to strategically invest in digitalization and expand digital infrastructure.
- Major societal challenges are addressed through collaboration—public and private sectors working together.
