Rudersdal Municipality

Rudersdal Municipality will be using Intellis A/S’s e-Procurement solution for several years to come.

“The primary reason we chose Intellis is that the system greatly supports our work with contract management, thanks to the built-in segmentation tool, which we can customize to fit our model. The system is well-thought-out and designed with an understanding of our needs. We expect Intellis to support our development of procurement in the municipality, ensuring that decentralized users spend minimal time on purchasing, allowing us to manage our contracts most optimally. At the same time, we anticipate that Intellis will keep up with technological advancements, enabling us to utilize these in our work.”

Kamilla Stark Lønsmann, Head of Procurement, Rudersdal Municipality

Søren Iversen, Partner at Intellis, states: “We are incredibly proud that our customers have faith in our brand new solution, even though it’s no secret that the solution has some teething issues that we are currently working to resolve. Intellis’ DNA is to keep our promises, and we will ensure that our customers are fully satisfied.”

Ishøj Municipality

Ishøj Municipality completed their implementation of Tellis in May, when project manager Anna and Procurement Consultant Søren Roslef checked off the final step in their Tellis implementation process.

A process that, due to the size of the procurement department, took a bit longer than average, but this did not affect the experience. On the contrary, both parties describe the implementation as successful and very positive. It was characterized by thoroughness, constructive feedback, and good collaboration between Anna and Søren.

“It was interesting to see how an implementation can still be successful in smaller departments, as long as there is strong collaboration, ongoing dialogue, and an initial meeting to clarify mutual expectations. Søren has really worked hard on this.”

Anna, Project leader in Intellis

The implementation in Ishøj precisely demonstrates that anyone—regardless of the department’s size—can successfully implement Tellis. It’s about adapting and scaling the implementation to the needs and resources available within the municipality.

“One of our most important tasks is to assess needs and align expectations with the customers before the implementation begins. This way, we ensure that the implementation is tailored to the specific needs of each customer.”

Marie Andersen, CPO & Partner in Intellis

Ishøj Municipality is working intensively to establish e-commerce within the municipality. The transition to e-commerce requires not only a change in workflows and culture but also a system that users can easily adopt and see the value in.

Tellis received praise for its functionality and intuitive design. The procurement module, in particular, was highly praised by both the procurement department and their end users. They were especially pleased with the favorites feature—both baskets and lists—and the fact that they can be shared across the organization.

Billund Municipality

After a strong field of bidders, we are incredibly proud that Billund Municipality chose to enter into a 4-year agreement with the purchase of the Tellis e-procurement platform.

“Billund Municipality has chosen Tellis as its new e-commerce and contract management system because the system provides both the functionality we need and the visual expression we want from a procurement system.”

Procurement Manager Jacob Saxeskov

Billund Municipality believes that Tellis meets their expectations for a modern and efficient tool that can help enhance their digital procurement, better manage their contracts, and thereby increase compliance.

“We have a positive impression of the organization behind it and look forward to the collaboration.”

Odense Municipality

“New and improved e-solutions can support a journey toward an even more digital and sustainable future. Odense Municipality will achieve this with the Tellis solution.”

When Odense Municipality announced a tender for a solution that would automate many aspects of their workflows, it was an ideal opportunity for Intellis to demonstrate the various modules our e-Procurement solution offers.

The Tellis solution that Odense Municipality will receive includes contract management, a sustainability module, catalog management, a dialogue module, e-commerce, and full integration with their ERP system.

“We wanted to show municipalities how our Tellis solution is the best and most revolutionary option for supporting and automating various workflows. Therefore, it is incredibly gratifying that we have won Odense Municipality, where their needs are being met with Tellis.”

Marie Østergaard Andersen, CPO in Intellis

Throughout the entire tender process, it was important for Odense Municipality to have a solution that was professional in terms of contract management. Moreover, they sought a solution that could promote their sustainable procurement. Additionally, user-friendliness was a crucial element in the tender. Tellis can meet all these requirements because it is built on the latest technology, we have many years of experience with user-friendliness, and the team behind Intellis places a strong focus on continuous development, innovation, and user involvement.

“We are always happy to welcome new members to the Intellis family. That’s why we are proud that Odense chose us. We believe we can have a great collaboration regarding the ongoing development of Tellis.”

Stig Larsen, COO in Intellis

Vejen Municipality

Intellis launched a completely new platform for e-commerce and contract management, providing customers with a fully digital workflow.

As the first in Denmark, Vejen Municipality signed a contract with Intellis for the new Tellis platform. This means a fully digital workflow as their many users utilize the solution daily for procurement, accounting, goods receipt, and payment.

“High performance is a pleasure. But fundamentally, it’s more about user satisfaction, clarity, and intuitive processes and flows in the solution. We have that today, and we will elevate it with Tellis in 2023.”

Martin Larsen, Team coordinator

Stig Larsen, COO of Intellis, continues: “All employees at Intellis are incredibly proud that Vejen Municipality—Denmark’s most business-friendly municipality—was so enthusiastic about our brand-new solution, which has been developed from the ground up with the latest technology, that they are now the first municipality in Denmark to sign a contract for our Tellis platform.”

Fredensborg Municipality

A joint collaboration between Fredensborg Municipality and Intellis paves the way for making contract management even more automated, thus powering Fredensborg Municipality’s ideas.

Getting Fredensborg Municipality on board is something truly special for Intellis A/S. We have a long-standing history with Fredensborg, and we are therefore incredibly proud that they have chosen our solution, Tellis. We are very much looking forward to continuing the great collaboration we had in our previous company. We are calling this new partnership “Fredensborg Municipality 2.0.”

Chief Procurement Officer, Jennifer Brethvad, states: “In Fredensborg Municipality, we are very excited to start using the new system, Tellis, from Intellis A/S. Specifically, we wanted a solution that supports Fredensborg Municipality’s contract management concept and segmentation model. We are now confident that we will get that, as Intellis has developed a solution based on Fredensborg Municipality’s concept.”

Jennifer continues: “We know the people behind Intellis A/S and have no doubt that the solution they are delivering is the answer to what Fredensborg Municipality has been dreaming of implementing. We are also confident that the municipality’s many buyers will benefit from a significantly improved e-commerce platform, which we hear includes robots, entirely new search functions, and other possibilities for a more streamlined process.”

Varde Municipality

For many years, the people behind Intellis have been responsible for developing and maintaining e-commerce solutions.

Tellis is the solution for all users in Varde Municipality because it supports the electronic processes that are part of the daily routine for the municipality’s employees. It is challenging to have a simple and easy-to-use e-commerce application that also supports the entire process, from purchasing goods to invoice payment.

“We are pleased that they are back in the game, and we trust that they can deliver because we’ve seen it before. They have been very flexible in meeting our requests and have been receptive to our needs.”

Lisbeth Kohls Jensen, Head of Procurement, Insurance & Accounting

The solution fully supports the electronic process, both in terms of managing the municipality’s contracts and, even more importantly, ensuring that users purchase goods at the right price and of the right quality.

Høje-Taastrup Municipality

Developing a solution that meets the customer’s needs has been an exciting journey. The secret is that this journey never ends.

Høje-Taastrup Municipality has extremely high ambitions for e-commerce. They aim to minimize the number of physical purchases in stores and reduce the number of invoices, shifting instead to electronic shopping for users. Therefore, they wanted an e-commerce system that works effectively.

“The fact that there are built-in risk assessments in the contracts and sustainability measures is very important for us, as it allows us to see which contracts align with which Sustainable Development Goals. This is one of the aspects that has excited us about Intellis’ contract management system.”

Lars Dyreborg-Gunslev, Procurement Manager

Because Intellis has a different approach to development, there is a greater likelihood of achieving a more dynamic exchange of data between the public organization’s analysis system and the contract management, e-commerce, and financial systems. This way, everything is connected, resulting in a better flow of data between them.

Høje-Taastrup shares their considerations.

Jan Hansen, Procurement Consultant, states: “Intellis is very proactive in developing e-commerce solutions. They focus on ensuring a great experience when using their system, as well as maintaining contact with the company behind the solution, which I must say they have fully lived up to over the years. Intellis has much more progressive ideas about solution development. What we have seen in the Tellis solution for contract management is outstanding, and I can say that we are taking a few steps up the ladder in terms of making contracts more dynamic and accessible to users. Additionally, it gives us, as a municipality, a better opportunity to automate all follow-ups on many more aspects of what such a contract entails.”

Ringkøbing-Skjern

A collaboration is built on trust. A good solution is based on modern technology. Both of these are supported in the Tellis e-Procurement platform.

Modern technology is crucial for making an organization digitally adaptable. Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality is seeking a next-generation solution. Jane Eichenwald Henriksen, Chief Financial Officer, states: “We need users on the other end to be able to purchase the right items easily and accessibly. In that regard, I think Tellis really stands out.”

“When I know that Søren Iversen and Stig Larsen from Intellis have been involved with our previous solution, it has been extremely valuable and has given me confidence in it, despite it being new.”

Jane Eichenwald Henriksen, Chief Financial Officer

Jane continues: “Now we have the opportunity to present a next-generation system. Something that is more modern than what we are coming from, and we get the chance to introduce all users to how they can shop and search in a smarter way, so that it won’t be an obstacle to e-commerce.”

Britta Nørgaard, Procurement Consultant, says: “Good people, happy people, great at dialogue, and customer-friendly. There’s not much distance from idea to execution. It has gone very smoothly and easily. Over here, we call it ‘stanniol,’ while in Copenhagen, it’s called ‘aluminum foil.’ But not many of our users knew that. However, the search engine can still assist the user in finding the product. We need to be more sustainable and environmentally conscious, and we can find that much more easily in Tellis.”
